SuperClubsPLUS for Primary
SuperClubsPLUS is a Safe Social Learning Network where 6-12 year olds can meet friends across the UK and around the world, be creative, have fun and learn ICT, Literacy and Global Citizenship together.
Safe
Intuitive Media rigourously validates all members through their schools. Professional mediators monitor all communication and content and constantly watch out for your children and keep them safe. Social
The communities are available from breakfast to bedtime - on school and home computers and mobile devices, so it’s non-stop learning for your children at school and at home. Children from different backgrounds and cultures keep in touch with friends, share interests and help each other. The home-school projects help parents get involved with their children’s school work. The children join learning projects and events such as: a discussion on global issues in the One World Club; a writing club with a popular author; a Hot Seat with an Olympic hopeful athlete, an artist or an astronomer; an interview with Anne Frank or Tutankhamun or a Maths fun day. There’s something for every child as they follow their own interests and work at their own pace and level.

Learning ICT
SuperClubsPLUS children learn how to send emails and take part in discussion forums. They build their own home pages using text, images and HTML codes. They learn from the mediators and each other very quickly. They take part in the SuperClubsPLUS STAR Award courses, learning Web Safety and lots of new ICT skills. Reading & Writing
Over 10 million emails have passed furiously between children, teachers and mediators. Children can only mail members in the community and are protected by automatic content checking as well as professional human mediation. In the Forums, children talk about everything under the sun. They learn to pose and respond to questions and they write to engage their audience. Children are highly motivated to write articles for their Home Pages. Home and School
A Bridge Between Home and School

After School and Breakfast Clubs
SuperClubsPLUS users are avid participants before school. Many children log on at home leading before leaving for school and at school breakfast clubs.
