Author Hot Seat Forums
"What a fantastic service the Hot Seat does, linking writers and readers and allowing kids to ask the questions they've always longed to be able to ask. I wish the Hot Seat had been around when I was a child and dreaming of becoming a writer! It was great to be able to meet so many fans who live so far far away from me."

200,000 Kids Cross the Greenland Ice Cap
Niall McCann and Murray Smith of Team Epic (Patron Sir Ranulph Fiennes are good friends of SuperClubsPLUS and GoldStarCafe, so were happy to take about 200,000 children with them on their epic 25-day crossing of the Greenland Ice Cap.
They journeyed on foot, unsupported - just the two of them, hauling 90kg sleds 335 miles from Tasiilaq on the East coast to Kangerlussuaq on the West coast. While on the ice they risked coming face to face with polar bears, they spent whole days skiing in whiteout conditions, gale force winds and temperatures as low as -25°C plus wind-chill. Their ski bindings broke. They suffered blisters, sunburn, snowblindness, and frostbite in some awkward places. Murray even met one of Santa's Elves.

Niall and Murray shared all of this risk, all the effort and sometimes the excruciating pain with the children of SCP and GSC who kept with them every step of the way through their blog in the Adventure Club and their courageous efforts inspired over 100 children to write accounts of their own real life adventures

Happy & Safe
Research into UK Children’s Happiness & Safety
“Dear Prime Minister,
Our country seems to be changing in many ways, however the children, the future of Britain have ideas which could reduce poverty, pollution and racism in the UK. If the Adults listened to the children would our country speak out with the future on it's lips or just follow it's fate?”
So writes Ellis, a 12 year old girl, one of 6000 members of SuperClubsPLUS and GoldStarCafe, who took part in the latest research on what makes children feel happy and safe in the real world and online. They tell the UK Prime Minister and the government how their lives could be improved.

The Rt. Hon. Charles Clarke MP listens to two of the 6000 children who took part in the research.

OFSTED Inspector Praises SCP
"One of the OFSTED Inspectors said that our children were the most knowledgeable group she had spoken to about internet safety. Now that is down to SuperClubsPLUS and how we have embedded that in school so thank you! Also the fact that the children can email children in other countries now got a mention in our community cohesion section.
As a school we will do what we can to sing your praises from the hill tops! I think it is a wonderful testament to you all at SCP that a system that is so embedded into our KS2 at Lancaster Lane is having such a positive impact on our children and that this has been recognized by Ofsted." - Joanne Geldard. Lancaster Lane Primary School, Clayton-le-Woods, Lancashire

IM Research & Community Services
Intuitive Media has provided community for over 1,000,000 authentic children and we find they love to tell us what they think. So we research into how they feel about life, their wants and needs and how they learn. We invite them to do Research Surveys, to Test Bed new online resources and to engage with issues in their Learning Channels.
"IM gave RSPCA a totally unique way to test our new Animals and Us online resource. The children gave us valuable insight into how they would use the resource and what to consider when developing this type of project. IM's excellent report opened the eyes of our senior management to the value of engaging young people." - Dave Allen, Head of Education, Information and Advice, RSPCA
